| - 1950's | Main runway has been increased to 2000 x 60 m. Secondary runway is build (200/020 ; 1600 x 50 m) ATC, Police, Customs are established. |
| - 15th February 1950 | Tower goes operational. |
| - 1949 | Construction of the first Tower. Runway : 1160 x 40 m |
| - 25th March 1948 | Luxembourg joins ICAO. |
| - September 1946 | Opening of the first Airport in Luxembourg (runway unpaved at that time) |
| - 12th August 1946 | Constructions of the first Terminal started. (finished in 1948; today: out of service) |
| - 19th March 1937 | Luxembourg Government gets OK to build an airport. Stopped by WWII, in which the US army uses the runway. |
